thesis statement - a statement that is the main idea of an essay
major topics - refer to a major phrases/sentences which are formed from the thesis sentence
subtopics - refer to the minor phrases/sentences which are formed from the major topics
supporting details - provide additional information to clarify or prove the main idea
synthesizing - first idea and secon idea plus your own idea is become a new idea

persuasive text - it is persuade a reader
topic sentence - it states the main idea of the paragraph and is usually the first sentence of the paragraph.
supporting sentences - the middle part of the paragraph that explains the topic sentence and provides evidence for it
concluding sentence - the last sentence of the essay, which summarizes the main points and restates the thesis
