6.1 Conditional Tense

• The conditional is used to say what you would do or for making suggestions about what you could do
• Si tu ne mangeais pas correctement, tu aurais faim


  If you didn‘t eat properly, you would be hungry
• Regular conditional verbs are formed using the infinitive of the verb with the imperfect endings
• Irregular conditional verbs use the same stems as the irregular simple-future verbs
• [subject] + [stem + imperfect ending]
