  • text - a simple and flexible format of presenting imformation or conveying ideas whether hand-writeen, printed or displayed on screen
  • text information - can be written in script using the roman alphabet or a different script that is appropriate to the language nor the reader
  • typefaces - a representation or style of text in digital format. these are the design in lettering that can include variation in size, weight, and so on
  • serif - connotes formality and readability in large amount of text. usually used for the body text of books, newspapers, magazines and research publication
  • san serif - brings a clear minimalist look at the text. used for clear and direct meaning of text such as road signage, building directory or nutrition fact. gives modern look and in used primarily web design
  • slab serif - carries a solid heavy look to text. can be used for large advertising sign on billboards. ex; rockwell, playbill
  • script - draws much attention because of itts brush-like strokes. musst be used sparingly and not to be used in large body text. usually used in wedding invitation cards and other formal events
  • decorative font - caters to a wide variety of emotions or themes.

  • alignment - how the text is positioned in the page such as left, centered, or justified
  • organization - organize the different text elements in a page
  • repetition - consistency of elements or unity of the entire design
  • contrast - create visual interest having two elements are different from each other
  • emphasis - importance or value given to a part of the text-based content make the text bold, italicized, and darkened
  • appropriateness - how fitting or suitable the text is used for specific audience
  • proximity - how near or far the text elements from each other
  • visual media and information - are the material, programs, applications and the like that teachers and student use to formulate new information to aid learning through the use, analysis, evaluation and production of visula images
  • visual information - the artistic or creative representation or interpretation of an idea, concept, or emotion using different media. it is created by painters, photographers, graphic, artists, or designers, and sculptors among others
  • painter - refers to the person who produces a work of art with colors, lines, and shapes using paing as a medium
  • photographer - a person who takes photos, especially as a job. a photographer can be classified as an amateur or proffessional

  • graphic artist or designer - visual communicators who create visual concepts by hand or by using omputer software, they communicate ideas to inspire, inform, or captivate consumes through both physical and virtual art forms that include images, word, or graphics
  • sculptor - creates a piece of art using a variety of media, such as clay, marble, wood, or even ice
  • types of visual information - painting, photo/images, sculptor, cartoon or comic strip, graphs and charts, billboard and poster
  • painting - an art form that creates pictures using a flat medium such as canvas or board and paint

  • Billboard refers to a large outdoor board containing text information and images posted as a form of advertisement. Poster is a similar to a billboard but is much smaller
  • audio -is an anything related to sound in terms of receiving, transmitting or reproducing or its specific frequency. an example of this is a stereo
