• • Universe came into existence about 15B years ago
• • Matter became so dense + hot it couldn't keep together, so it caused a "Big bang" (time + space = created)
• • Scientists conclude universe has NO creator, things must've happened by themselves
• • Temperatures cooled forming elements + islands of more solid matter, combining to form galaxies containing many stars
