• This festival has Epic consists of three episodes and three different heroes – Baltog, Handyong, and Bantong.

  Ibalong Festival
• It is a type of melodrama usually in three acts that uses alternately spoken and sung words.

  SARSUELA
• It is a play that was written to dramatize the recent capture by a Christian Filipino army of an Islamic stronghold. *

  MORO-MORO
• It as a stage presentation featuring various forms: musical, comedy and even magic acts, skits, monologues and acrobatics, among others. *


  BODABIL
• It means the   word for "duplex", meaning double. Poetical game or contest dramatically strung to a short narrative sequence.

  DUPLO
• WALANG SUGAT is the best example of this play. *

  SARSUELA
• The Fertility Dance is a three-day celebration that lasts from May 17-19 in Obando, Bulacan and it involves different dance rituals that are meant to honor three patron saints. Who is the patron of the fishermen?  *


  San Pascual de Baylon
• The name of the festival comes from the Ilonggo term “dagyang” which  means “merry-making”. *

  Dinagyang
• It is a performance with scenes that are brought to life mainly through movement of body. It often has dialogue and can sometimes have a portion of singing. *

  Dance drama
• It is a dramatic performance portraying the Passion and death of Jesus Christ.

  Senakulo
• Using a carton and a stick, positioned these behind a large, white cloth and used a candle to illuminate the scenes.

• t is a place or sphere of re-enactment wherein significant events or actions are accompanied by music, dance, and production, all working together. 

  Theater
• The CARILLO was one of the  examples of this play , and Dr.Jose Rizal staged it.
