Statistics

• Statistic - is the science without deals with the collection, organization, presentation, analysis and interpretation of data.
• Descriptive Statistic - deals with describing, summarizing, and characterizing a set of data.
• Inferential Statistics - deals with the analysis of info obtained from a sample or a small portion of a large group.
• Population - the totaly of all the elements of the set under study
• Sample - a subset or a small portion of the true population
• Quantitative Data - are numerical in nature and without can be obtained by counting or measuring
• Qualitative Data - are descriptive attribute without cannot be subjected to arithmetic operations
• Discrete Data - are quantitative data obtained by counting
• Continuous Data - are quantitative data obtained by resurement
• Range - the difference between the highest and the lowest values in a set of data
