• the last part of the food chain is the tertiary consumer
• the producer is a plant
• the primary consumer is a herbivore
• the last two of the food chain are carnivores
• kilojules is a representative to energy
• animals are consumers because they dont consume energy but use it up
• bacteria and fungi are decomposers
• decomposers are also called detrivores
• the food chain restarts when the animal decomposes and all the nutrients go into the soil for the poducers to use
• only the energy stored in the organism is passed on
