  • Sustainable development fosters economic growth while preserving the natural resources for the next generations. Sustainable development of the society refers to the major components of human existence and these are the following:
  • ECONOMIC COMPONENT
    This component is very essential since the goal of economic and social activity is to satisfy the needs and desires of human species which results to the different dimensions of human existence: biological, social and rational/psychological/spiritual. Its desire is to produce a maximum flow of income in terms of rational use, efficiency of the resources (scarce resources). In the perspective of sustainable development, the environment should not suffer for the economic growth.
  • ECOLOGICAL COMPONENT
    Environment development can be defined as the ability to hold while the three basic functions of the environment; the power function of resources, waste receptor function and the direct utility (Wardle & Giller, 1996). Environmental protection is considering physical and biological system stability, developing their capacity to adapt to change and less considering physical and biological system stability, developing their capacity to adapt to change and less conservation status considered ideal (Bran, 1991).
  • HUMAN COMPONENT
    This component has the major role, the concept of equity incorporate several forms of manifestation regarding sustainable evolution of human society. This is centered on health, well-being and education of people as to the quality of life they are living.
  • Global Sustainability
    The conditions under which human beings and nature, societies and the biosphere can co-exist in ways that enable productive harmony, stability and resilience to support present and future generations

    We determined to mobilize the means required to implement this Agenda through a revitalized Global Partnership for SD, based on a spirit of strengthened global solidarity, with the partnership of all countries, all stakeholders & all people

    We are determined to ensure that all human beings can enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives and that economic, social and technological

  • Global South
    A term that has been emerging in transnational and postcolonial studies to refer to what used to be called the "third world" (i.e countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America), "developing countries, "less developed countries", and "less developed regions"

  • Global South
    Refers broadly to the regions of Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. It is one of a family of terms, including "Third World" and "Periphery," that denote regions outside Europe and North America, mostly (though not all) low-income and often politically or culturally marginalized

    In our activity, as we speak with the economic division, we primarily can tell that most of the countries in the north are rich, industrialized and wealthy nations while in the south: most countries fall on developing countries
