• God is continually involved in the creation and continually creating so this is a constant aspect of God. This gives people the responsibility to look after the world and to look after God's creation
• God rested on the seventh day of creation giving Shabbat as a gift to humanity
• Shabbat is seen as a time when humans can rest from their work, reflecting that they are not all powerful like God
• Rosh Hashanah celebrates the creation of the world
• Jews may think that the just and merciful nature in God's role as a judge is the most important than Him being the creator. Humans will rely on both when the judgement comes so these qualities to a person's future life which is eternal
