• ELECTRICITY AND MAGNETISM -It is the process where electricity is produced. Electricity is produced in many ways depending on the source.
• Lightning - Electricity is produced when excess electrons in the cloud jump to the ground.
• Electric Eels - these animals are capable to electric current that stunts other animals.
• Chemical Reaction - reaction between chemicals such as in batteries, induction.
• Solar Energy - after the conversion and solar energy to chemical reaction on solar panels that create electricity.
• Electromagnetism - Electricity is produced by electromagnetism induction where electricity is produced by the action of a magnetic field as exhibited in turbine and generators.
• The common source of electricity is electromagnetism induction that primamrily uses a turbine to gather energy and produces electricity.
• Turbine is a device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy.
• Power Plants - serve as source and site for generating electricity.
• Large Transformers - are used to raise the generated electricity to high voltage, particulary in times of energy loss and eventually voltage loss.
• Transmission lines - high current carrying capacity wire that allow long distance connection for electricity.
• Substations - stepping down of high voltage to be carried on distribution line to go to homes, offices and industries.
• Distribution lines - lesser current carrying wires compared to transmission lines that carry elecctricity to its destination.
• Transformer - after the distribution line, electricity is allowed to pass again through transformer to ensure provision the needed ideal voltage.
