  • Experiment - Any event involving a chance
  • Sample Output - All the possible outcomes of an experiment.
  • Outcome - Any possible result of an experiment.
  • Event - Subset of the sample space.
  • Systemic Listing - 1 or more events. Lists all possible outcomes.
  • Table - 2 events only. Like using a Punnett Square.
  • Tree Diagram - 3 or more choices that branches out
  • Probability of an event - P(E) = n(E)/n(S)
  • If asked the probability to not get an event, subtract 1 from the probability of getting said event.
