• • Some Catholic Churches set up hospices and provide palliative care and spiritual guidance e.g. City Hospice in Cardiff
• SACRAMENT OF THE SICK:

  • Given by priest to those who are ill elderly or nearing death
  • One of the 7 commandments
  • One of the sacraments of healing , celebrates healing power of Jesus
  • Unites a sick persons suffering with that of Jesus and bring forgiveness to sins
  • Can be administered more than once and provides strength, comfort, and hope to those who receive it
