• What is the function of lymph nodes?

  To fight infection.
• What is extracellular fluid?

  ECF is fluid found outside of cells after being forced out of capillaries.
• What are the characteristics of tissue fluid / ECF?

  Does not contain RBC's or platelets.
• How does lymph slowly move through lymph nodes?

  By general body movements.
• What are the four function of the lymphatic system?

  To collect ECF and return it to the blood, to defend the body against infection, to help with balance, and to transport fatty acids + glycerol.
