    2. Alkaline phosphatase is high
    3. PTH is high
  • Management
    1. Initial loading stage to replenish stores
    2. Subsequent maintenance phase to avoid repeat deficiency
    3. Supplementary calcium is also given
  • Definition: clinical manifestations of profound Vitamin D deficiency following epiphyseal closure in adults.
