    • Employers - provide safe place to work, necessary training, ensure health and safety legislation complied with.
    • NHS - To provide environments that are secure and healthy to work in and visit.
    • Local authority - promote health and safety also enforce health & safety standards.
    • care manager - must develop, review and update care homes hss policies and procedures.
    • Third sector - charitable organisations safeguard and promote hss for individuals who require help e.g. childline.
    • Employees - use safe working practice to maintain their own and others safety.
  • Individuals who require care and support must:
    Report any hazards.
    Take part in fire evacuation drills.

    • Keeping up to date with legislation.
    • Update policies regularly.
    • Induction training for new staff.

    • Evacuation policy.
    • Ongoing monitoring and supervision.
