    -both partners in a family have a responsibility.
    -raising children acting as a role model to them , looking after other relatives and maintaining the home.
    -should provide a nurturing environment for each other.

    Muslims aren't against divorce but would expect a couple to try and work it out first.
    the couple must separate for 3 months where they live in the same house but do not have sex. after this time, the imam would give them a religious divorce.

    men and women treated the same

    catholics Believe that men and women have equal roles in the family but don’t believe women can be priests
    because:
    the priest represents Jesus and he is a man
    women can have equally important roles like at the church!
    , as nuns helping to lead worship.
    however in the bible - Paul it says ' women submit to your husbands"
