  • Jesus' last words were, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit". This shows that if Jesus trusted God to look after Him when he died, then Christians can too

  • Some Christians believe that Jesus suffered so much pain during the crucifixion that it would be impossible for him to suffer any more punishment from God. They think this means that Jesus’ death paid for all human sin and that no further sacrifice is needed
