Enzymes

• 1. Meaure 5cm^3 of pH buffer into a test tubes
• 2. Add a drop of idodine into the spotting tile
• 3. Add 1cm^3 of starch into the pH buffer
• 4. Add 1cm^3 of amylase into the solution
• 5. Start the timer and add a drop of the solution to a drop of the iodine, repeat every 10 seconds
• 6. Record results on a table
• Dependent variable: Enzyme is working, colour change
• Independent: The time
• Control: Volume of the iodine, volume of the sample, ammount of starch and the temperature
