‘Dignity in Dying’ movement

• Movement wants choice, access, control for people in issues of death and dying.
• Believe right law for UK = one that allows dying people (6 months or less to live), to have option to control their death.
• Person should be able to submit their request to panel of doctors and judges - once approved and time to reassess decision = person can be prescribed lethal dose of medication to take home (patient can plan own death + die in own home).
