  • God's all-loving nature is vital because the trinity is three persons united in love "trinity of a lover, beloved and the love that binds them together into one" (st Augustine) Realise importance of showing love

  • Jesus teachings and actions ("love thy neighbour")are better because Jesus was fully God and fully Human. Because he had human limitations he is understandable compared to the trinity "Why have you forsaken me"
  • Christians can understand God by learning about other characteristics eg. omnipotence, transcendence, creator "Let there be light"
• Mission is a better way of showing God's love than evangelism-AGREE

  • Taking practical action to help suffering people, improving quality of life "those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also" (JOHN)
  • Mission could be seen as taking more commitment and effort than evangelism (building a school is harder than preaching Gospel) therefore it is a greater demonstration of love. Pope francis- "Preach the gospel at all times. Use words if you have to"
• Mission is a better way of showing God's love than evangelism- DISAGREE

  • Helping someone experience joy and peace of being Christian is best gift of love as God's loving nature and knowledge is shared "the church is an expression of a love that seeks the integral good of man"
  • Jesus last instruction to his followers was "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" so it is a Christian duty to spread the words of Jesus and broaden the Catholic community because Jesus commands it
• Contemporary worship songs are the best way to worship- AGREE

  • Engaging, fun and upbeat for the younger generation through use of guitars, encouraging them to praise God "adds delight to prayer"- sacrosanctum concillium
  • Gregorian chant, or Latin music is not accessible and understandable so is less meaningful to the congregation because they don't know what they are saying. Contemporary music shows understandable key teachings (shine Jesus shine)

  Jesus taught our father which shows kingdom values and a close relationship with God "forgive us our trespasses"

  prevent asking from God or changing intended meaning as you can rely on words as comfort, focus on connection instead "raising of heart and mind to god"
