  • Charges
Electric charge is the physical property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed near another charged object. There are two types of electric charges; positive and negative.
  • Conductor
An object or type of material that allows the flow of an electrical current in one or more directions.
  • Earthing (grounding)

he process of removing the excess charge on an object by means of the transfer of electrons between it and the Earth.
  • Electrons

A fundamental particle with negative electric charge.
  • Electrostatic force
Attraction or repulsion of particles or objects because of their electric charge
  • Friction
The force that opposes the motion of an object. Can cause transfer of electrons.
  • Insulator
A material whose internal electric charges do not flow freely
