    • Many Christians believe it interferes with God's plan and is comparable to murder
    • Types of Euthanasia:
    • Voluntary: person asks to end their life
    • Non-voluntary: person unable to request due to illness
    • Involuntary: person able to consent but not asked
    • Active: taking active steps to end life
    • Passive: stopping treatment to quicken natural dying process
    • Euthanasia - In support:
    • Some argue it gives a good and gentle death, allows a dignified death, and is a compassionate act
    • Euthanasia - Against:
    • Opponents believe only God should decide when life ends, it may be against the ill person's will, and could lead to abuse or inheritance issues
