  • Ulcers -Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of your stomach and the upper portion of your small intestine.
  • Ulcers-The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.
  • Peptic ulcers include:
    • Gastric ulcers that occur on the inside of the stomach
    • Duodenal ulcers that occur on the inside of the upper portion of your small intestine (duodenum)
  • Acid Reflux-also known as gastroesophageal reflux (GER), is the backward flow of stomach acid into the tube that connects your throat to your stomach (esophagus).
  • Acid Reflux- During an episode of acid reflux, you might feel a burning sensation in your chest (heartburn). This can occur after eating a big meal or drinking coffee or alcohol.
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome-common disorder that affects the large intestine. Signs and symptoms include cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea or constipation, or both. IBS is a chronic condition that you'll need to manage long term.
  • Hemorrhoids- are swollen veins in your anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. Hemorrhoids can develop inside the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external hemorrhoids).
