• Losing objects or people

  Feels like a part of oneself was also lost
• A person's possessions and associations with others will be the only objects that will remind the world of who that person was after they die
• Representation of self


  Through clothes, gadgets, friends, and activities
• The choices made to achieve recognition from others depend on both one's own capabilities and the value given to what one has or can acquire
• Having the ability to find things that will define oneself and persist through time can result in a more cohesive and easier establishment of who one is as a person and what one wants to be in life
