Importance of the Eucharist

• Eucharist - sacrament which gives Gods grace to help live good lives and grow closer to God
• The mass celebrates the resurrection and reminds Catholics that there’s life after death
• Catholics = in real presence of Jesus , through the bread + wine
• Catholics join with Jesus through receiving his body + blood - brings them closer to salvation
• ‘Do this in memory of me’ - Jesus commanding attendance of Mass
