  • Position Paper - It aims to gain support on a pressing concern with recommended courses of action to convince the public or private entities.
  • Parts of a Position paper:
    • Introduction
    • Body
    • Conclusion
  • Introduction - should catch the reader's attention by presenting the issue and its relevance
  • Body - consists of several paragraphs with background information of the issue, supporting evidence, or facts in support of the claim.
  • Conclusion - summarizes the main arguments presented in the body, presents possible solutions, and recommended course of action.
