    • Adverbs is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective, or even another version of itself.
    • Adverbs modify 3 things: Verbs, Adjectives, and Adverbs.
    • Adverbs of time answer the question "when".
    • Adverbs of place answer the question "where".
    • Adverbs of manner answer the question "how".
    • Adverbs shouldn't seperate a verb from it's object.
    • Adverbs of manner are commonly placed at the end or the beginning of a sentence or before the verb they modify.
    • Adverbs of time are commonly placed at the end or the beginning of a sentence.
    • Adverbs of place appear before the adverb of time in the sentence.
    • Prepositions link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words in a sentence.
    • The word/phrase that the preposition introduces is called the Object of the preposition.
    • A group of words that starts with a preposition and ends with its object is called a prepositional phrase.
    • Around means on all sides or in a circle.
    • Conjunctions are words used to connect words, phrases, clauses, or even sentences.
    • Coordinating conjunctions joins two indepdendent clauses that are equally important.
    • When a conjunction connects two clauses, the new sentence is called a compound sentence.
    • The coordinating conjunction usually comes in the middle of a sentence and follows a comma.
    • A subordinating conjunction connects clauses of unequal status.
    • Independent clauses expresses a complete thought.
    • Dependent/Subordinate clauses don't express a complete thought.
