  • 23rd February 1917 thousands of women were m arching for women's say and workers joined them causing the government to loose control of the capital
  • on the 2nd march Nicholas agreed to abdicate

    • Nicholas refused support form 'progressive bloc' as they wanted to help deal with pressure caused by war
