  • Assesment: With Social work problem-solving nature, it naturally begins with assesment or problems and current situtation
  • Psycholocosial assessment : is being used by social workers to summarize relevant information about a client into concise statements that allow other professionals to understand the client's and other clients problems
  • Diagnosis: Is conducted with diagnostic statement or brief overview of what considered as the most relevant provblem experience by the client and its potential causation. It offen suggest a label defining what the client problem is
  • Treatment Plan: Describe the goals of treatment during specific period of time and comes from the agreement made between the worker and client.
  • Evaluation: While treatment may be the reason the patient recovers , it is not always certain. this is when evaluaton is very important
  • History: How long did the problems last before the client came for help? The longer a social or emotional condition lasted before the client came the social work for help, the less likely it is that the client recovered by chance.
  • Baseline: When meeting the client for the first time baseline reading for their problems is being done. finding out how much they asleep, how much they weigh, their level of exercise, how much work or school they miss, and how often and how much they drink or taken drugs.
  • Outside Verification: can be asked to see if the client is doing well. this help gives social workers evaluation a way of factoring out the tendency of clients to tell the former that things are better or worse than they really are and makes evaluation more valid and reliable
  • Psycological test: a client can be given a psychological test to test for any numbers of problems, including depression and anxiety
  • Statistic Test : Simple test can tell whether it was social work that led to change or some other chance occurance
  • Ask the client: The social worker can ask the client directly whether it was the social work or something else that caused their improvements
  • Ask other professionals: other professionals may be asked to evaluate the client before, during, and after treatment ends and let them decide whether the client has improved and if it was due to the help
