• Marxism- society is capitalist as it is based on making profit, rather than by the interests of all people.
• Freudian- deep and dark desires, death drive leads to self-destruction.
• Karl Jung- we all have a 'shadow'- a darker side. We try and conceal this 'shadow' but such strong desires will eventually be unearthed.
