  • AO3- shocking to audience but will sympathise with his stress and the loss he has dealt with (wife/partner/son). Stephens is not critiquing Ed. Presenting reality of being father in challenging circumstances- Ed is typical father facing stress of raising child- not actually all because of C autism. Judy states that Ed - ‘gets on with it’. In this situation, anger is caused because C lied and Ed feels distant from son / fearful of being found out
