    AO2 –Siobhan understands Christopher. They have a trusting relationship.
    ‘I think I would make a very good astronaut.’
    AO2 – Siobhan IS a dramatic device because she reads his book aloud- she is like a narrator. She acts as his voice and is Christopher’s vehicle for communication.
  • AO3 – This gives audience insight in to his interior world. The freedom to move between time and space and express action from different view points helps us understand him better- C view only would be limiting because of his impacted understanding.
  • Siobhan 
    AO2 –Siobhan is his advisor and guide. Christopher uses her as a way to soothe himself when stressed.
    ‘Christopher, I think you should do what your father tells you to do.’ 
    ‘imagine a big red line in your head’ 
    ‘It helps doesn’t it?’
  • AO2 – Siobhan has the dramatic device means she can move between Christopher’s voice and her own interjections. She inhabits a space ‘inside’ his head where she guides him. 
    AO2- stage crafting- National Theatre use red line on stage- represent interior world
  • AO3 – Siobhan is a significant catalyst for his journey to independence. Her support gives Christopher the tools he needs to access the world, from her classes in school to her secure, trusting presence which means he can bring her to mind to regulate him during moments of overload.
