  AO2 – sarcasm – C needs parent support and love but Roger does not appreciate that 

  AO2- National Theatre use realism more consistently with Roger and Siobhan to reflect the realities of this key moment- their arguments and his violence are depicted vividly and relatable.

  AO2 – series of interrogatives that reveal his lack of understanding about C and autism 

  AO2- stage direction ‘he grabs at Christopher’

  AO3- Rogers wants to prioritise his relationship with Judy and does not like the strain C places on it. The demands of children and being a step parent in a non-nuclear family set up.
