  • Circuit training

    A form of interval training that incorporates periods of work and periods of rest, with timed stations where people do maximum reps per unit of time
  • Circuit training

    • Highly adaptable to develop almost any component of fitness, particularly good for muscular endurance
    • Good for group training
  • Downsides of circuit training are lack of records and potential for people not trying to their maximum

  • Benefits of weight training

    • Increases strength, power, and injury resistance
    • Aids recovery from injury
    • Replicates sports movements (with free weights)
