Cardiac muscles

• The heart muscles, is an involuntary muscle, as it is not under conscious control
• The cells of the muscle tissue can be uni-nucleated or bi-nucleated
• They are also striated which means they appear to have light and dark bands
• The cells are branched X or Y shaped cells
