Direct Quotation/Speech- restatement of the speaker's exact words. (Ex. "A Filipino may denationalize himself but not his stomach," she said.)
Indirect Quotation/Speech/Reported Speech- report of the speaker's words. (Ex. She said that a Filipino may denationalize himself but not his stomach.)
Modals- helping verbs that can be used to express the possibility, probability, obligation, advice, ability, prohibition, requests, etc.
Word Cline- arranging words that have similar definitions according to intensity
Persuasive Essay- Aims to persuade the reader to accept the writer's point of view.
