wire
– is made up of comprised multiple small size of metal wire bunch together to reach the necessary gauge.
Solid wire
– is made up of single metal wire
Braid
wire
– it can be flat or round and composed of multiple strands of wire braid as one which is used in a very high voltage system.
Coaxial wire
– it has inner conductor surrounded by insulating layer.
Twin lead cable
– a conductor separated with flat insulation used to pick up signal of radio and TV.
Western Union splices
– they are used to keep service wire too much pulling or pressure.
