  • Help people affected by natural disasters, providing essentials (e.g. Shelter, clean food, water)
• • CAFOD tried to bring social justice through campaigns (e.g. Trade Justice - campaign promoting human rights in worlds poorest communities)
• • Believes in dignity in all human beings
  • Part of ‘Make Poverty History’ uniting 31 million people globally for actions to be made against poverty
  • Resulted in world leaders increasing aid spent and some of debt owed to World Bank by poorest countries in the world = cancelled
