  macbeths ambition- 'vaulting ambition which overleaps itself and falls on the other'- personifies ambition, can pull him into committing regicide

  lady macbeths emasculation- "coward", "when u durst do it then you a man"- uses macbeths masculinity as a means to catalyse the murder and get him to commit regicide to become king

  macbeths guilt after- "i heard a voice cry 'sleep no more! macbeth does murder sleep"- sleep=innocence and sanity, suggests that macbeth has lost sanity after the regicide, suggesting the consequences of regicide and transgression of the divine right of kings
