  • lack of water access could lead to poor sanitation leading to more water borne diseases, this results in increased death rate as children cannot go to school while collecting water. However in L.I.Cs and N.E.ES, lack of water could lead to lower crop yield resulting in food shortages and malnutrition. Thirdly ,energy cannot be produced leading to load shedding. This results in a reduced standard of living as there is a profit leakage in the economy, reduced productivity ,reducing the national G.D.P and literary rate. This also reduces the QUALITY of LIFE.
