• Sense of vulnerability when we are first aligned with him, he is struggling to catch Moss, Moss has hurt him.
• The Coen brothers could be making a comment on the American Health system and price of medical supplies that are there to save peoples lives.
• MS on boot as he takes it off, blood pouring out of it.
• Symbolic as his boots are one part of his costuming that allows him to appear as an alien in the western world – they are his pride as he always takes them off – active audience could acknowledge how getting blood in them would anger / upset the evil master.
