• STYLE APPROPRIATION is a kind of cultural appropriation. It occurs when a person uses stylistic innovations distinctive of a cultural group that is not their own.
• MOTIF APPROPRIATION It occurs when artists are influenced by the art of a culture other than their own without creating works in the same style.
• SUBJECT or voice APPROPRIATION when this sort of appropriation occurs no artistic product of culture is appropriated Instead, artists appropriate a subject matter, namely another culture or some of its members.
