Baptism

• Baptism is a sacrament where they feel God's grace or God has brought them closer to Him
• John the Baptist was the first Jew to use baptism to symbolise the forgiveness of sins
• Some Christians believe baptism makes a Christian a member of God’s family
• Christian's sins have been forgiven and they enter a new life with Jesus
• Infant baptism - where babies are baptised because they enter the world with original sin due to Adam and Eve
• Believers baptism - when adults make the choice when they can get baptised and when they feel ready to do this. They can accept Christianity by themselves
• "Baptise you in the Father, in the Son and the Holy Spirit"
• Infant baptism shows that they don't understand the commitments in a church but it allows them to grow up with God for their entire life
