• observe torah by shabbat which is a spiritual day of rest
• messiah (explain) - relevant as if jews shabbat properly the messiah would come
• god wants a relationship with humans (explain free will) - shabbat is relevant as it helps build a relationship with god
• follow the torah - relevant because torah is gods word so it cannot be wrong and is always important
• synagogue is a place of worship for jews, they come together to pray and make relationship stronger. Come together for community services but is also a house of study and prayer
• strengthen yetzer tov and control yetzer hara - improves relationship and stops sin
• prayer services (presence of god) - surrounds them with god who is omnipresent (shows devotion and respect)
• unites jewish community - relevant to jews and their devotion to god
