  1. Start by taking a boiling tube and placing it 10cm away from an LED Light

  2. Fill boiling tube with sodium hydrogen carbonate solution

  3. Put a peice of pondweed into the boiling tube with cut end at the top

  4. Leave for 5 minis to acclimatise to boiling tube conditions

  5. Start a stopwatch count bubbles produced in a minute repeat twice-calc mean

  6. Repeat experiment 20cm, 30cm and 40cm away from light

  7. Place pondweed under a funnel and catch bubbles in a measuring cylinder filled with water

  8. Use measuring cylender to measure the volume of oxygen produced
