The şahabah said "We hear and we obey" to all the commands of Allah and His Messenger, and were thus successful in life
The sahabah completely fulfilled the purpose of their existence - to worship Allah

Allah filled the hearts of the şahabah with imān, and He made disbelief, sin and disobedience unappealing to them

Salamah ibn al-Akwa
He was able to run faster than an Arabian camel and used this skill to help the early Muslim community
Hassan ibn Thabit
He was a talented poet and used this skill to defend the Prophet and spread the message of Islam
'Uthman ibn 'Affan
He used his wealth and success in business for the development of the Muslim community and to help and support the poor
