Energy Transfer

• Work Done means:

  -when an object is displaced by a force, work is done

  -When an object is disformed by a force, work is done
• Work done = Force x Distance moved
• Simple machines make work easier. They are force multipliers
• Things that let heat energy pass through them easily are called conductors.
• Things that do not let heat energy pass through them easily are called insulators
• Some Conductors are steel, duvet, gas and air
• Some insulators are liquid, plastic, polystyrene, concrete and wood
