"A merry Christmasto everybody! Ahappy New Year to alltheworld!" = this quote shows how much scrooge has changed by the end of the story. This quote also highlights his newfound generosity towards others.
"Are there no workhouses?" = rhetorical question signifies the fact that scrooge does not think that the poor should be worth a second thought and that they should just be sent away. This also signifies scrooges cruelty towards the poor.
