Ghost of Christmas present

• "If he had to die, he better do it quick to decrease the surplus population." = he quotes what scrooge said to the charity men.
• "Sympathy with all poor men" = shows he is kind hearted. (Ghost of a christmas present.)
• "They are man's" = saying that society created ignorance and want.
• "I see a vacant seat. The child will die." = he is saying that tiny Tim will die if scrooge does not help the cratchits.
• "The boy is ignorance. The girl is want" = abstract pronouns personified. This is what is wrong with society.
• "Most of all beware this boy" = more dangerous as if there is no want.
