  • changes in law = 2011 sex offenders disclosure scheme following successful 2008 pilot
• Bradford road safety:

  • campaign = the Bradford telegraph and Argus encouraged readers to send in dash came videos of dangerous driving
  • key people = t and a plus Bradford MP
  • changes in thinking = police began operation steerside which caught almost 8000 drivers. police say this is now embedded in force culture
  • changes in law = 2016 the campaign was highlighted in parliament and used as part of national consultation on dangerous driving legislation
• pressure groups:

  • campaign = 1997 harassment law did not cover stalking
  • key people = protection against stalking and NAPO
  • changes in thinking = parliamentary enquiry suggested police needed to deal with stalking more effectively. 60MP'S supported this
